IQ Race — Train Your Brain · Last updated: 24 August 2026

IQ Race has no sign-up, no login and no password. You can play the whole game without giving us your name, your email or anything else that identifies you. This page explains the small amount of data that does leave your device, and why.

1. Data that never leaves your device

Most of what the game knows about you is stored only in your phone's local storage and is never uploaded anywhere:

Deleting the app removes all of it.

2. Data we send to our servers

We use Google Firebase to run the parts of the game that involve other players. Only these things are uploaded:

If you never set a name, you play as a guest and your results are not submitted to the global leaderboards.

3. Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the game is used in aggregate — which games get played, where people stop, whether a new feature helps. We send grouped values such as a level band, a streak band and your app language. We do not send your player ID or your name to Analytics.

4. Advertising

IQ Race shows rewarded video ads supplied by Google AdMob. You choose whether to watch one; they are never forced on you, and there are no ads between games.

To serve and measure these ads, Google may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), your IP address, ad interaction data and basic diagnostic information. This data may be used to show you personalised ads inside this app and in other apps and websites owned by other companies.

Your tracking choice

The first time you open IQ Race, iOS asks whether you allow the app to track you across apps and websites. If you decline, the app does not access your advertising identifier and you will see non-personalised ads instead. The game works exactly the same either way. You can change your answer at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

Google's handling of this data is described in Google's Privacy & Terms. You can manage your ad preferences at Google Ad Settings.

5. What we never collect

6. Children

IQ Race is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the app shows third-party advertising, we ask that children under 13 do not use it without a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. How long we keep things

Weekly leaderboards reset every Monday at 00:00 UTC. Room data is temporary and is discarded once a room ends. Your player record stays until you ask us to remove it.

8. Removing your data

Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device. To also remove your player record, display name and leaderboard entries from our servers, email us from the address below with your friend code — you can find it in the app under Account > Friends. We will delete the record within 60 days.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on the App Store.
